Mahamar Haidara :- Co- founder / CEO SBC : Business and Financial Engineer, HEC Liege, 32 Year experience in the mining industry.

  • Member of the Zambian Institute of Accountants and Chartered Public Accountants (finance, taxation, business law) - L008793.
  • Strong negotiation skills (government - mining development, communities and other stakeholders).
  • Co-facilitated tax workshops with tax authorities in French- and English-speaking countries in Western, Central and Southern Africa (Mali, Mauritania, Congo (DRC), Zambia, Ivory Coast and Liberia). Fluent in French, English, Songhay, Bambara and basic Italian.
  • In-depth knowledge of the mining industry (open-pit and underground mines) and I have held senior positions (finance and administrative director, commercial director, finance director and interim managing director) in listed mining companies over the past 24 years, including Anglo Gold Ashanti, First Quantum Minerals Limited, Endeavour Mining and ArcelorMittal.
  • Multi-lingual, business-focused professional (leadership, strategy, tax, finance, mining optimization- feasibility study and economic evaluation, optimization, and sectorial study), detail-oriented, I deliver and execute multi-disciplinary base metal and gold projects safely, on time and on budget.
  • Plan and execute strategic direction, vision, optimization (cost saving initiatives and Business Excellence, capital efficiency) and know-how in conducting business, divesting and seeking investors while maintaining positive stakeholder relations.
  • Able to drive transformation and change for business and organizational effectiveness and develop a sense of ownership and responsibility. I have successfully managed financial, tax and Government-Multinational partnership add community issues (Management/Negotiation of Mining Agreements, borrowings, withholding tax, VAT, transfer pricing, deferred tax, depreciation tax, interest) in various jurisdictions and obtained unqualified audit opinions from the start of my career in 1992 until now.

Boncano T.F Maiga :- Chief People Officer- CPO, HR Executive and Brand Leader

  • Boncano T.F Maiga : Co-founder / Chief People Officer – CPO and Executive Brand Leader - Strategic Human Resources Management Master's degree in Legal Sciences from the Ecole Nationale d'Administration des Affaires - Mali (E.N.A 1998). Certified Human Resources Professional and member of the Association pour la Gestion des Ressources Humaines (AGRHM). She also holds an MBA in Strategic Human Resources Management from Walden University (USA 2012).
  • Boncano is a bilingual HR (English and French) with over 25 years' experience in the mining industry. She has worked for Anglogold Ashanti (SEMOS SA and Yatela SA) as HR, legal administrator and contracts specialist. Her international career began in 2007 with BSA-Minergy, a Mauritanian and South African mining joint venture, where she worked as HR and legal manager (2007-2010). In 2009, she attended the International Mining Meeting (Indaba-Cape Town) on behalf of BSA Minergy to explore growth opportunities.
  • She has been involved in the logistics and supply chain mining industry and worked with Bollore Africa Logistics Zambia as HR Bilingual Business Optimization Manager (Ndola & Kalumbila) from 2013 to 2015.. She joined Agbaou Gold Operations in 2016 as HR Manager AGO, a subsidiary of Endeavour Mining Corporation.
  • Boncano founded Strategic Business Consulting SBC in Cote d'Ivoire in 2018. From that date until May 2022, she worked as a senior HR consultant for major mining operators and contractors, and with her team comprising international consultants, audited the mining activities of a number of companies in CI under the cover of an international auditing firm.
  • While continuing her work in mining control, recruitment and optimization, Boncano served as CPO - Chief People Officer and Culture for Corica Mining Services from July 2022 to June 2024, a multinational mining contractor operating in West Africa, where she was in charge of change and transformation and the development of HR procedures.

  • Franck Dibi Syvestre :- Mining Consultant

  • Franck is a hard worker who has safely managed mining operations, including mine planning, capital budgeting, analysis of equipment specifications and fit with the global business environment, contract management and operational excellence.
  • From October 2017 to September 2021, Franck was responsible for open pit mining for Africa and the Middle East at Barrick Gold (formerly Rand Gold): Overseeing mining operations; Leading the budget unit plan, strategies (technical and operational), explosives contract management, skills development.
  • Franck was involved in the development of the mine's short- and medium-term planning/design with the aim of optimizing operations and achieving a 3% cost reduction target.
  • Franck has also played a major role in reducing fuel consumption and optimizing blasting techniques (optimized ore fragmentation, reduced ore dilution).
  • Franck has a strong leadership style capable of motivating the team, driving change and working in a stressful and demanding environment.
